Cake Colony

Cake Colony is a cozy ant-farm game set inside a layered birthday cake in a bakery window.

A customer commissions a shape — a heart, a star, a moon, a crown. Your colony has to tunnel it through the glaze, sponge, caramel, rose, blueberry and fudge before their patience runs out.

Drag scent trails to guide the ants. Drop honey, chili or mint to change how they dig: honey is slow and precise, chili is frantic and messy, mint cracks off diagonally. Eat cherries for bonus coins — and beware wide tunnels, they can cave in.

Sell the finished print, then spend your coins in the Colony under the bakery: build a Hatchery, Pantry, Training Yard, Queen's Chamber, Sugar Vault, Gallery and Comfy Burrows, and finish each one to reveal its own little scene.
